Back to Reality

Break was awesome. I didn't want to come back so soon but alas, I am here.

One thing that I have been noticing is that there have been a lot of campus tours. Then it hit me that this is the same time I came to visit Tulane last year. I can remember it like it was yesterday.

It was a rainy humid day and my mom and I had just left our hotel downtown. I was so nervous driving up to the school that I almost passed it. Once we got into Richardson Memorial and I saw the first slide show, I was really excited to hear more. Then after hearing President Cowen speak I almost knew right then, that I had made my decision to come to Tulane.

Many of you high school seniors will be making your final college decisions in the next couple of weeks and I encourage all of you to visit the schools that you are considering. You may find that the school you thought was perfect may not feel right at all, or that one of your safety schools is actually the perfect fit for you. Whatever your decision, make sure you consider all of your options.

If you have any questions about Tulane just hit up me at tscott@tulane.edu

Ok, so enough words of wisdom. Here are some pictures from LA:

Springtime for Tyrone

Ok so it's not really Spring but it feels like it. Especially since its 69 and sunny as I am typing this.

As far as my life right goes, its sorta busy. I'm in the process of applying and interviewing to be an RA for next semester. It's sort of nerve-wrecking but I'm excited at the same time. I've already done the individual interview and I just got back from the group interview/activity. I really hope I get the position but I won't know until next Monday, so be on the lookout for that announcement.

Also my a cappella group is recording it's 3rd album this week and we're really pumped. There are gonna be some oldies and some new stuff too, but either way it's gonna be our best album yet. Btw, we are pre-selling CDs so if you're interested just shoot me an email (tscott@tulane.edu) because we have a tendency to sellout the week its released.

It's still midterm time right now but everyone has motivation since Spring Break is right around the corner.

I think that's my life in a nutshell as of now. So now I will leave you with a photo gallery from the Tulane Greek step show hosted by Xavier University this past Friday:
