TUCP (Tulane University Campus Programming) hosts many events throughout the year. Some of most anticipated events are those of their concert series. This past Friday TUCP arranged for rappers Lil' Wayne and Rhymefest to do a show here on campus. Tickets prices seemed a little steep but after the concert I saw that it was worth it. And sorry guys I would've taken lots of pictures but they said no cameras in the auditorium :(
Besides that, my friend Megan came in town this weekend to visit her mom and so we were able to go to ther show together. After the show we went to this restaurant called Camillia Grill where they probably had the best omelette I've ever tasted in my life (or least it was better than anything I could make).
Yesterday I wanted to get off campus for a while so it was great because she had a car which was way more convienant than shuttles, buses, and street cars; which are a must since freshman are not allowed to drive. We went to the Shops at Canal Place, the Riverwalk, and some other stores downtown.
Also it hasn't rained for several days around here, which is pretty unusual. But as I am writing the rain is starting.....lol
Oh well, at least that tropical storm system didn't really affect us.
