Workin' 9 to 5

Actually not 9 to 5, but I did start my on campus job this week. Now, I know this doesn't sound too exciting but this is probably one the highlights of my week for two reasons:
1) it gives me 2 hrs to study and do homework
2)I get paid to study and do homework

What is this mystery job you ask? Well officially, I am a DSC (Desk Services Coordinator) for William & Katherine Mayer Residence Hall; a fancy way of saying I work front desk at a residence hall. For incoming freshman, I totally recommend this job because of the flexible hours and simplicity of the job. You don't make the greatest of money but it's always good to have a little change here and there. And also with flexible hours you can still have a social life.

For example, I worked 12am-2am(not bad since I'm usually awake during this time) several times early this past week, which allowed me to attend a welcoming event called Karma (hosted by IATU=Indian Association of Tulane University) on Friday night. It was pretty much one of the funnest times I've had here since Reily Rocks.

Oh and I got an A on my first college quiz...in French class that is.
